19th century oil on canvas painting of a monk sitting on the river bank with a sandwich on his knee and a fishing rod to the side
A very peaceful scene by the well known artist Frank Hyde . The painting is signed and housed in a gilt moulded  frame,
The size of the image is 53cm high 35cm wide whilst overall size is 62cm x 79cm
In very good condition with no overpainting or restoration to the canvas.
There is also a companion piece for sale showing the monk admiring his catch- a large fish in glass case. Discount available for both items bought together. Photos show painting lit and in a natural light.
