holding a  book behind his back, Probably the bible. By the well known artist Frank Hyde . The painting is signed and housed in a gilt moulded  frame,
The size of the image is 53cm high 35cm wide whilst overall size is 62cm x 79cm
In very good condition with no overpainting or restoration to the canvas.
